Hello - so starting to get our trip planned, we leave on August 18th.
We will be there for 6 days, less than I'd thought but I'm not complaining. I'd hoped that we would rent a car and drive around the island, but now I'm leaning towards staying in Reykjavik and doing tours to places we want to go. Has anyone else done this?
Part of that seems worthwhile, no driving, etc. but on the other hand I guess I was really looking for something more adventurous - staying at farms or bed and breakfasts around the country.Any thoughts between the two?
