I kind of thought of it this way: if I search myself on Google, I find my:
LinkedIn page (private, but some basic info available)
Facebook page (private, but name available)
Blog - (totally open, with contact form)
Company Website (name, business contact info including phone and email)
Website - (being rebuilt right now, but includes name and contact form)
Flickr (name, ability to contact me)
meetup.org profile (contact info, name)
svpply.com profile (name, contact info)
QBN profile, old myspace account I need to delete, and some random pages with photos on them from my old band.So, part of me just thinks "what do I care? So much can be found in other ways." But I've also thought that I'd just use G+ for keeping in contact with a different set of people than I do on Facebook. The ease in which you can share stuff to Circles is really nice.
What do you think?
