Ive been lucky to see Towmbly's work around the world as well. And it is definitely sad to see another artist pass on, but I still cant make the connection on why his work is so great. Abstract, yes. but what else am I missing? I say this in the utmost respect, but I feel like his paintings are just a cruel trick on people sometimes. I guess if you see just one or two of his paintings at one time its fine, but to see a entire room of his work, you may start to question things.
Please dont crucify me for this post ;)
