    @23kon

    no prob mate, im pleased my excessive procrastinating geekiness helps anyone.

    i know so little of the ricoh cameras, but that GX100 looks pretty cool.

    Yeh the wide angle and fish eye and macro for the oly 14-42mm lens look ace. i hope they arent expensive as i paid £30 on ebay for a high quality, like-new Olympus A-28 0.8x WA converter.

    Oh man the e-pl1 is ridiculous value. its stills are amazing for the money, slightly sharper (for the pixel peepers) than the gf1 and gf2 thanks to the lighter AA filter on the sensor.

    However i much prefer the gf1 because of how different they feel. I'd almost say go for the E-pl2, only because i know i couldn't be happy with the e-pl1, it doesn't feel right to me, the buttons, the case etc. Plus the e-pl2 has a much better screen.

    BUT a big thing to consider is, are you going to purchase the EVF? -

    (the thing on top :P)

    If you are, the price difference between the e-pl1 and e-pl2 will buy it! which negates the lower resolution screen of the e-pl1.

    if your not gonna buy the evf, buy this, the original e-p1 -

    reason being is its metal body unlike the epl1 plastic body, better buttons, feels better and it has a 3 inch screen vs a 2.7 inch screen of the e-pl1 (this seems like a big difference in person). The e-pl1 will however take very slightly sharper pics, but i would have guessed you wouldn't even notice the difference.

    you can get a refurbished one on ebay for £230, but i'd highly recommend you apply this skin to make it look even more classy and retro -

    hope that helps :)
