    Hombre_Lobo,
Cheers for all your advice in this thread. Been a great help.

I watched a good comparison video on youtube of the GF2 and EPL-2. The guy kept jokingly mistakedly calling them the GF1 and EPL-1 because there isn't much difference between updates.

His conclusion was that the cameras were both pretty similar but the Olympus was a bit more 'fun' because of the effects filters, and the Panasonic was more of a 'serious' camera.

The EPL-2 has the ability to use two of these effects at the same time and you can also customise these to how you want them which is pretty cool and could save hours of tweaking pics in photoshop.

At the moment i've got a Ricoh GX100 with a hood and Nikon Wide lens thats ALWAYS on there. I want to get a better quality camera and both series of the Olympus and Panasonic are definitely better.

The Olympus is of interest because of the new Wide Angle & Fisheye adapters that can be added to the standard lens.
I'm going to phone a shop to confirm the new adapter can be added to the newer EPL-1 14-42mm lenses. I saw a post on flickr that said it will fit certain ones.

As well as wanting a good camera, I don't want it to be stupidly expensive so that i'd shun from taking it out all the time so that's why i'm thinking of going for the 1st series of one of these cameras.
And at the moment it's the Olympus that's favourite.

    EPL2 with 14-42mm = £469!
    EPL1 with 14-42mm = £279! bloody bargain for what you're getting!

Still on the fence which to get. I hate decisions like this!

I was the same before I got the Ricoh GX100.
Originally I was after the GRDI/II to replace my Lomo LC-A+ but opted for the GX100 because it had the zoom.
