Not new, in fact me and my cinematographer have been talking about it lately and it is why I posteed it here for conversation. I wanted to see what the QBN community is made of.
And dude, I just saw "The Other Guys" 1 hour ago ( funny film ) and I was specifically talking about the crushed black levels and showing it to some friends. The indoor scenes in the bar when Farrel is drinking are very "godfather-y" and maybe to contrasted for my tastes.
Barking up the wrong tree?
Just from the example you put up I don't think you fully realize what I am talking about. And Im not going to teach you anything, so just disagree and move on, please don't try to outsmart me or whatever your trying to debate here.
