This is BS. Everyone knows the Mayan calendar ends in 2012 because that's when the Artificial Intelligence will be created, which will propel us towards the technological singularity, therefore making time irrelevant.
Come on people, it's just common sense. Also, time travel will be invented. And your Roomba robot vacuum will be able to clean future-dust that hasn't even accumulated yet. But that's probably less important.
