"make the logo bigger" is fear-weakness talk... it means you've failed to sell your design idea, and/or the client doesn't get it and you should probably quickly look for other clients, it's the first sign that the shit is about to hit the fan....
if you make the logo bigger, you might as well bend over and get ready for it... if you don't, you better have a really good idea to sell, and be ready to really convince them....
