Really awesome implementation, IMO. Drop photos in the folder, and walk away. Who cares even if it has a practical use for everyone, it's always refreshing to see someone trying new things.
But I can think of a few uses off the bat...
I would probably use this to get rid of my Flickr, FFFOUND, Imagespark accounts, etc. Just drag and drop inspirational JPGs into the folder and bam, captured for future reference.
Or it would also be a cool concept for an artist's website who produces shit tons of work, and doesn't want to bother with website maintenance. Sort of a stream of consciousness of their recent work.
