[Pick of the Night] Fucked Up / Audacity / Catwalk @ Echoplex ($5) – Go for the punk rock spectacle.
[Recommended] Smokey Hormel and Friends @ McCabe’s ($13) – I miss Beck’s classic, Odelay-era band. Smokey was a big part of that.
Coachella: Arcade Fire / Animal Collective / Mumford & Sons @ Empire Polo Club (Sold Out) – I’ve seen 10 of the bands playing today. I recommend seeing: Animal Collective, Delta Spirit, Erykah Badu, Mariachi El Bronx, Phosphorescent, Raphael Saadiq, The Henry Clay People, The Joy Formidable, The Radio Dept., The Tallest Man Alive and Wire.
Rod Stewart / Stevie Nicks @ Hollywood Bowl (Sold Out) – I would like to see Stevie Nicks and Faces-era Rod Stewart.
