There is no reason to promote this video on a business site even if it's something you're proud of. That really is the only true problem with this whole thing, bragging about it. As long as the story is true about the villager needing help because the elephants are destroying crops and killing people trying to protect them then what he did was help some people out that needed it immediately.
For all those complaining about it, you should try living in a third world country, grow your own food and then see how protective you become about it. The dead elephant didn't go to waste either. In that country it's considered food. If you have a family that you need to feed animals that are destroying your crop will get eaten too.
