  You can meet them at your place of work (or get a hobby so that work isn't the only place where you're meeting people), but I would seriously consider people keeping their distance from each other if they start to really like each other (distance = different department, floor, building, city, whatever).

  Because everyone around you can tell what's going on, and that will affect your job and reputation either way.

  I've seen many friends do this and it hasn't worked out once.
