I'm totally and helplessly addicted to it, have tracked down almost everyone I've known and and liked over the last 30 years, made surprising discoveries about people that the most unlikely of friends with me, connect and have a laugh with close friends, stalk friends of friends of friends pictures, friend people I don't know because of mutual interest in music, or graffiti, making some genuine connections sometimes. I really don't see the problem with it and why everyone's all 'like so like over facebook, yeh' about it.. It's like being sick of watches or tv or cars, its ubiquitous. Don't share anything with anyone on there you wouldn't want anyone else seeing or reading - I don't understand why anyone would ever need that explaining to them. They know my name and a few things I like and who my friends are. So fucking what ? If you walk off the public street up to my door and knock it - guess what - I answer it.. We all live in public, public 'means' all of us. The internets are outside 'in the real world', just act accordingly.

    • It's not so much about what I share. It's about how much shit other people share that turned me off.monospaced
