my site is live now.. check it out, if you have a moment and let me know your thoughts.. http://www.edd-e.com/ thanks to ArmandoEstrada for giving me the help in getting Director up and running, all it took was 1 XML file and boom! it worked. i knocked off b_rett b_ash's site originally as i wanted to see if could break down his site and see what i could learn, which didnt exactly work out as my flash skills arent up there yet, but i did manage to see he uses SlideShowPro Director, which put me on path to learning it.. im still going to changge or make changes to the site with flash, as this is all just for fun for me, i like to learn, and now i have a new found respect for web designers, as i am learning how difficult your jobs really are in creating all this stuff.. everyone tells me to go take classes but i like to jump right into it and run with it.. after careful discussing with some of my previous clients, i am going to showcase my fashion work on my site as well as my robots, digdre is to thank for that for pushing me to do it, although he didnt know it but he planted the seed in me to make it happen [so thanks to you tom] in light of the NDAs i signed, the products that made it to retail i can post my conceptual work with final product photos.. oi.
so what do you think? of the art and the site? is everything navigating and not lagging [too much] im still learning how to manage the file sizes from extreme llarge files to managable size for all viewers. also how is the size of the visual? i tried to make it to fit that of laptops as im still not sure how to have the work re-size to fit any screen or even go full screen.. but its a step in the processs one day ill learn it..
