thru college i lived at my uncles house - he and his wife both have great jobs and enjoy good wine. over 3 years of sampling, i developed quite a taste for it and became very well versed.
since then i've lowered my standards - as i now have a family to support and expensive wine is not on my "to do" list. now my palette can barely tell the difference between "sunny d" and vinegar.
there is a brand called smoking loon - for a $10-15 bottle, they're pretty good.
