What are you looking for... Price Range? Amenities/experience? How much time will you be spending in the room?
I would find something close to a Tstop.

Newbury Guest houseWhen I visited Boston before I moved here I used to stay at a place called the College Club. It's on Commonwealth Avenue which is a beautiful avenue. It's in an old mansion and has, what a yelper described as, a "grandmotherly decor" but it's clean and cheap and in an excellent location:
