Can't get it to work well as in poor signal? If that's the case, ask the landlord if they can change it over to a different wireless channel.
Also, ask them if it's set to the right wireless band, preferabley B+G+N if it's an option or just B+N so it's compatible with everyone's wireless.
Finally, get a better usb dongle, that one seems to be a no name brand. (AzureWave?)
