Back in July the scales for ebooks started tipping in a big way... hardbacks are generally only new release, so there are still a huge quantity of back-catalogue paperbacks that sell by the bucketload.
Some textbooks will never really be as useful in ebook format as they are in printed form, as you have to flip back and forth through references and stats etc.
My folks own a big bookstore in Australia, and while sales are still good and the business is going well, the gadget-person in me wants them to sell it... I don't want them to have nothing to sell in 10 years just in case we're all wrong.
