Of course we're oriented toward consumerism, but only if it entertains us.
The opposite of like isn't hate it's "is indifferent to".
Think of all those things in like you find of no interest to you...
see...they don't bother you do they ?
It's like that with consumerism (or whatever that's called now that we're not political activists in some 70s college), for the rest of us.
Must go - it's nearly 2.30, and I want hours of energy now with no crash, not that 2.30 feeling later, and I refuse to grab another coffee or soda.
