i'm freelancing at a place right now, but there are on site designers too. i hear what the clients say then the on site designers try to drill their idea into me. all i've heard all morning is "why aren't you doing it the way we told you? you never do what you're told" I reply with "because you guys never give the clients other options."
so while they're still working on the one design idea, i've prepared 3 different from theirs instead of mimicking their design allowing the client to see multiple choices tomorrow instead of 2-3 people rendering same idea for presentation.
