  A client told me at the beginning of August that the 160+ pg. brand standards book I had barely started needed to be done by the end of the month. Two weeks later, I was told that they decided to scratch the project (I was about thirty pages in at that point), because the CEO did not believe it would be enforceable. Apx. 60 hours of work down the drain.

  Call me naive, but couldn't the CEO enforce the wearing of purple pants if he so desired?
