  Ok, going to read between the lines here:

  You've graduated many a year ago...
  Yes you're still interning...
  And you're working with a 'cultural' institution...
  That is designing by committee...

  But wait - are they twisting your arm to do shit work or are you simply a patzi? Part of a designer's job should be to aware and conscious of a clients actual needs. If you did more than they asked then good for you. If you didn't do enough shame on you. If they're changing scope of project well it sounds like you may have setup precedent for that kind of behavior. Or maybe they just like abusing interns.
