  well, now that you brought it up. I held out on replacing my 1st gen iphone until 3 weeks ago. My first gen was a great phone but not a great smart phone. It never dropped calls or had reception issues.
  Now that I have this i4 I have dropped more calls than I did the entire 3+ years I had the first one. It's awesome at everything else but it's a phone first!
  I just got my free bumper in the mail a few days ago and it seems to help a little but I'm seriously considering rebooting my old phone and using the i4 as an ipod touch/hipster camera.
