my computer is also acting up. it was freezing a lot while doing inane things (launching safari, etc). early 2008 imac.
can't drag windows around but mouse still moves. not a virus but they think it's a hard drive issue. was on phone with them for 40+ minutes today. they basically tried everything, but it's taking like 10 minutes to boot now. just got the hard drive replaced last year.
taking it in tomorrow. frustrating. just got it back after it being gone 10 days to get a new back light.
