A site which generates a discussion is always a winner in my eyes. So well done for that reason alone.
In my opinion there are too many ideas thrown into the mix, too many treatments, type ideas, background fades, photo shoots etc. It all removes the focus from what is actually truly amazing: their print work. The digital work is not their strength IMHO and this sort of confirms it.
I feel the same thing happened with the Jason Tozer photography site where all I could see or remembered afterwards was a repeated typographic background rather than his actual work. The usability is not amazing, but then I again, I think that is a conscious decision on their behalf.
