I have a Ruckus, and to be honest it lacks a bit in the power department. I don't know about Toronto, but in the states all you need is a drivers license to operate them. So that could be another benefit, not having to get a motorcycle license.

Back to the power issue, its only 49cc, so climbing hills and being out when its windy definitely slows you down. There are companies that make big bore kits, bigger air intakes, and Yoshimoto even makes a pipe (titanium or carbon fiber) to help give the dragon a little more juice.

That being said, I stay with the traffic on most roads. If you live downtown, it really wont be any problem. Its really fun too ride, no clutch...just twist the throttle and go. You can order plastic pieces that close it in under the seat...I've always wanted to get some.
