Never expect creative satisfaction from your job. You must develop an outlet for your creativity on the side where you have total control in the production of what you choose to do. Then, whatever happens at work will not have as much significance, and you'll be able to let it slide a bit more.
That being said, if people are really being horrible, it's time to move on to another firm. There are good people and good places out there. Just keep looking around until you find one.
But definitely start something creative on your own—not for profit, just for fun.
