yeah prophet i used the community/free edition. the API documentation needs to mature slightly and the Q+A part of the appcelerator site is dreadful, but that is going to change soon apparently.
if you know any javascript and want to play in the app world it's worth looking into for sure. learning objective-C is a much bigger leap than learning a new API and its quirks!- tx. i might give it a whirl. it looks interesting. i'm not a programmer so this could be a good solution.prophet
