Regardless of how you feel about Israel (and I've had many Israeli friends over the years), isn't it clear the current government is doing whatever it can to cripple the "peace process" before it begins?
I also find it disgusting that Israel is completely dependent on American support to survive in terms of financial aid, weapons, and perhaps most importantly political support. If you are American a piece of your paycheck goes to Israel. But when we ask them to compromise they basically turn around and insult us.
