Here's one for the books...Not really Client of the Day - more Account Manager of the Day:
So the last couple of days i've been working on a small printed piece for a client whom i've worked closely with on several projects now. The PM kicks me off on a project smoothly and I proceed to generate some initial designs for the project. Our plan is to have an initial client review before end of the week.
Everything is going smoothly, design is all well and we kick off some artwork to client for a first round of review and CC the account manager too (it may help to note he is also the owner, salesman and an account manager!!).
Anyway, we send the design comps off today, client reviews & loves them and OK's us on a design to work with.
Fast forward 6 hours from client review. Account manager/Owner/Whatever emails me and the PM with this line:
"Have we got budget approval for this yet??? I don't recall submitting costs...."
WTF! mind = blown.
