Funny you say that. When I was 19 Facebook didn't exist (thank goodness) and nothing I said or wrote became part of a public record. Nowadays I see my younger cousins on Facebook saying all kinds of stupid shit that, while normal for a teenager, can bite them in the ass later on when they're looking for jobs.I miss the good 'ol days when pictures were developed and kept in shoe boxes instead of posted and tagged for everyone to see.
I'm close to just quitting FB altogether now. Not because of privacy issues, but because it just isn't worth the effort to do everything online when it's so much more rewarding to do this in analog.
