McClaren was horrible. Yes he changed the music industry, all the shallow, evil things about it were started by him. He turned pop into pedo porn.
When he put Bow Wow Wow together in the 80s, he told the 13 year old lead singer that the band wouldn't get anywhere whilst she was still a virgin. He then got the band to draw straws to determine who would deflower her.
He tried to start a magazine called "Chicken" that was essentially child pornography. He bullied said Bow Wow Wow singer into doing nude photo shoots for it, and photos have also been found of an 8 year old indian boy posing with adults wearing loincloths too small to cover their genitals.
