babaganush, would they? I don't think that's true. I think they were talking about their realm of influence and in many cases overstating it. But essentially there's no rule to say you can't sell a service which is about who you know and how you can influence those people.
I agree it's not what you expect your elected MP or minister to be doing but that's them for you.
