i have used it, although not to produce anything serious yet. it's quite impressive from a web designer/developer point of view because you can use your existing skills to create "native" apps (for mobile anyway) the desktop apps are actually a slightly enhanced version of a browser running files stored locally.
one thing to watch out for- API documentation is not that complete/detailed yet.
