it makes you wonder why Google isn't protecting their users instead of bowing to every arbitrary DMCA request... but no Google is apart the in club for major media corporations so they play along. DMCA has nothing to do with copyright protection and everything to do with persecuting smaller entities' rights with digital media like mp3s, if it was about copyright or the labels and artists they'd be upholding the value of promotional material and online music culture.
