went and saw the road today --- against all the low expectation bs i've read here and elsewhere...
fkn loved it!! floored.
Duvall is genius in this. and the sound desing -WOWWW>> wind howling, crackling of the earth and trees creaking all over, just amazing. Also haven't read the book, so was thrown where certain scenes went, what was going to happen next etc. Great great great film... super underrated. Kinda annoyed how it just passed by with little reception or buzz. And even got a bad rap here? wtf...

Are people really that simple they need to be spoon fed that kind of exposition?? i like the idea of cinema sparking the imagination and leaving things open to interpretation.
