I don't know where you buy your flip flops, but if you are paying more than $25 bucks for a pair of sandals, just because it says "dolce gabanna", "diesel" or "douchebag" on tag on the side, that's your choice, but flip flops should be at least 1/2 price of a cheap pair of shoes.Myth #1: They Smell

That's not true, because of the flip flops being open, your feet will breathe better and no sweat stink will get trapped on your foot, if your feet smell wearing flip flops, chances are that you don't shower often, or you just been snowboarding the entire week with the same pair of socks and never took a shower before putting your flip flops on....................................
That being said, I live in San Diego, were is usually pretty hot, and its very normal to wear flip flops.
PS: You should always cut your nails, don't assume that you should only do it if you are going to wear flip flops cause that is gross, plus you can actually get hurt if you don't do it while wearing regular shoes
