    In the solar flare image above, there is a lot of photoshopping.
    Most of the images NASA publish are heavily heavily edited. To my knowledge there isnt a colour camera anywhere in space, so all the colour put onto the images is guess work. There is always a large margin of error when making B&W images into colour. We still dont know for sure what colour the surface of mars is, its educated guess work - we know what colour the atmosphere is however as seen from earth.
