    Deadly Detroit platter from Kai Alce's NDATL imprint released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of the world's most influential clubs, Detroit's Music Institute. Hailed as the focal point for the first wave of Detroit techno pioneers, the Institute played hosts to a stellar rollcall of DJs with Derrick May at the helm as resident and everyone from Kevin Saunderson to Juan Atkins and Chez damier gracing the decks back in the day. Part 1 of this three part series collects four previously unreleased tracks salvaged from DAT's, tapes and CD's in a series that will include rare and "lost" tracks from Derrick May, Kai Alce, Chez Damier, K-Hand, Mike Huckaby & Alton Miller.
