Good but not the life-changing experience everyone's making it out to be. THe best part by far is the CG and the imaginative approach they took with the design of the various aliens. Writing and character development about at the level of your typical sci fi TV series.
To be honest, I thought Coraline which came out earlier this year was a better use of 3D. I think 3D movies work better with pure animation than with live action.
