    well a quick google got me this paypal help page..

    "Your drop-down menu choices should not exceed 10 menu items of 30 characters each (if you are using the Button Factory to generate your HTML code. If you are editing the code by hand, you may add additional menu choices)"

    so it appears you need to manually edit the html if you want more than 10 options.

    as for a counter, why not just increment a counter locally whenever someone is sent back from a successful paypal transaction? i think you can specify a "success" page, no?
