It really, REALLY would have helped in a controlled environment. The fact that the "before" pictures are taken in one place with inconsistent lighting and the "after" pictures were achieved through a photoshoot really fucks up the whole point of the comparison.
IF the photographer shot the girls in the same position with the same lighting, and god forbid the same camera/lens, then this might be engaging. Basically, it seems like the photographer spent even more time beautifying through light sources, environment and Photoshop instead of just leaving it to the girls' primping.
