    I just switched from the Philadelphia chapter to the SF one. My initial impression has been that it's a lot less active than the ones on the east coast and none of the events have interested me enough to go.

    If anything it's worth joining to get your portfolio on the AIGA jobs site, I get a lot of people contacting me through there.

    • I've had a couple people find me on there for freelance projects. Mostly people are recruiting for full-time/freelance work. And my average monthly page view is over 300, which is more than any other site my portfolio is on.megabytes
