I always just assumed my true calling would reveal itself sooner or later. So I waited... and waited... and nothing happened. So I decided to try my hand at the creative industry. Surely I can find a home in such a wide demographic. There's plenty to learn, and it looks wonderfully rewarding.
Cut to today, as with any other venture I half ass my way through. I find that I will never be as good or merely average in the shadows of other more qualified and talented people. I'm stuck. Stuck here feeling sorry for myself, which is of no help to anyone. I fear it's time I just give in to the inevitable and drink the kool-aid. This is as good as my life will ever get. I had big hopes for my life... I should have known better.
