Ink: douches write 'timeline' on a thread if a post references something that occurred a minimum of one day in the past.

Say, for instance, I posted a news article that came out two days ago. All the douches on this site will spring into action, posting "timeline" as replies or comments.

    Reasons:
    1. They're douches. That's what douches do.
    2. They may've seen the news article two days ago and not commented on it OR posted it two days ago, but want credit for having seen it before the rest of us.
    3. They may NOT have seen the news article two days ago, BUT still want credit for having seen it before the rest of us.

Here's the silly thing, someone always writes "timeline" on posts where other people have already replied remarking that they HADN'T seen it before and some variation of "thanks for pointing this to my attention."

To me, the whole idea of writing timeline is then voided. Because the post was helpful/funny/unique/unseen/inte... to someone, someone was grateful/enlightened/intrigued, or someone found it to be new.

But then again, the whole idea of being a douche is foreign to me so who knows why they act the way they do.

    • Correction: Minimum of one minute.Gucci
