  Another thing that pisses me off is that all my colored ink is terribly low, and I can't remember the last time I printed much color stuff.

  I have always had a hunch that, unless you select that a document needs to print in Black, that it uses all the colored ink to create black color. Anyone know anything about this? My black cartridge is almost totally full, which is messed up... it should be the only one that needs replacing.

  • correct. unless you tell it to print black only in the printing prefs each time, it will use all colors.scenek
