Something that is also overlooked is the fact that Brawn still had Honda money going into this season. Despite the stories saying otherwise, they had plenty of financial backing.
But fair enough. Button is a solid enough driver - not top five... maybe top ten - and did what had to be done. At the very least, Damon Hill still holds claim as worst driver to ever win the WDC.
