Brawn was quietly allowed to go with diffusers at the beginning of the season. Other teams were not allowed to use similar mods before and some didn't even bother applying for them knowing others had failed at getting permission. The season was rigged from the beginning.
There are opinions that Brawn got the green light for diffusers (which eventually gave him the podium) because he wouldn't be interested in running the team without a high chance of winning.
He would run for the president of FIA instead, threatening Max Mosley's position. Mosley certainly didn't want that.But it all doesn't matter now. In the end, winners are right, losers are wrong. And truth be said, Button did a good job this year.
- hahahah you joker. Brawn was the only team who looked at the rule book at found out that a diffusers was allowed and made it work on the FIA terms. Get you facts right.pillhead
