I actually never had any Flash issues with Safari. In FF though, youtube vids are always jumpy. It is supposedly caused by FF saving sessions repeatedly.
I had to get coolbook because of Flash. What it does, it lowers your processor voltage. Doesn't affect performance whatsoever, but you don't hear the fan so often. Also, it increases battery running times noticeably.
