    They'll switch them off soon as they cannot run this thing in winter.
    It takes so much power there wouldn't be enough for Geneva during winter's increased intake.
    Funny some people will call it a success of European science almost on the same breath they would count your "carbon footprint".

    • my work colleague's physicist fiance worked there, she had all sorts of info on lhc all the timeraf
    • wikipedia says they stop because electricity is pricier in winter, but I doubt they ever had any cost restraints :)raf
